4 Days E-bike Enduro Roam
Skills: Beginner – Intermediate – Advanced Access: Shuttle, Bike Group size: 3+ Best period: May – October Overview 4 days of enduro E-bike roaming in the most beautiful area of Bulgaria, the valley between 3 mountains. Bansko (our base) is located in the foothills of Pirin mountain, but it’s also close to Rila mountain and Rhodope mountain. Which makes it a perfect location to stay. We will embark on an epic journey in these three mountains. There are playful, flowy trails waiting for us. Each day we will visit unique places and we guarantee to you, you will fall in love with each place. We have selected the best locations in a 4 days tour for you that will satisfy even the most demanding taste. Get yourself ready for epic journey through the finest and gnarliest trails. With its high mountains the country has a lot to offer and it’s pure bliss riding these ridges, pine woods, playful single trails. The history has left a big mark here and there is a chance of visiting unique chapels, fortresses, wineries, old towns and more cultural heritage sites. Bulgaria is also very rich on natural hot springs and most of the days we can dip in the pool after riding to recharge our batteries for the next day, or dip in the cold waters of the river to refresh in the hot summer days. Of course cold beers will end the days properly in a good company. Itinerary Day 1 Arrival We pick you up from the airport and head directly to Bansko in Pirin Mountain and check in. Depending on the time of arrival we may have some time to warm up at the closest trails just above Bansko. In the evening there are opportunities for sightseeing, hot mineral pools or just chilling and preparing for the next day. Day 2 Bansko On the second day here we will enjoy a full day of riding in Pirin National Park. There are many options – from fast and technical single trails to easy ride in the valley with views to both Pirin and Rila mountains. Depending on your wishes and skills you will be taken for a lifetime memory ride. The Bansko area offers big variety of trail difficulties. There are short singletrails with features like berms, rollers and technical sections, so as long descends with more natural features that require high skills, stamina and technique. Either way the fun is guaranteed! Late night you can choose between pools, cultural and architectural sightseeing, restaurants and bars or resting. Day 3 Bansko In the second day we’ll start with some of the best trails from the previous day to warm up and then we’ll go explore the more technical part of Pirin mountain. There will be sketchy switchbacks, rock gardens and steep descents that will suit even the most demanding riders. Big part of the trail building in the area over Bansko was happening exactly here, so there are features built and it’s pure fun riding this zone of the trail network. We could end the day with some cold beers and nice local food in the old town. Day 4 Final day On the final day we will get you back to the airport and meanwhile we will stop to visit one of the most popular temples in Bulgaria, Rila Monastery. Bansko Enduro Trails
Skills: Beginner – Intermediate – Advanced Access: Shuttle, Gondola lift, Bike Group size: 1 + Overview Overall, Bansko is a great destination for mountain bikers of all levels, offering a range of trails, beautiful scenery, and great facilities. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a beginner, Bansko has something to offer for everyone. The town is located in Pirin Mountain and it’s also famous with it’s good snow, slopes and offpiste skiing/snowboarding. In the summer there is a lot of mountain biking going on. Bansko has a well-developed trail network, with several options for riders of all skill levels. The most popular ones offer features like jumps, drops, and berms. We are being directly involved into trail maintenance and building, as part of our sustainability policy. We’ll be riding mainly in pine woods and the soil always has a good grip, even when really wet. Most trails can be reached for half an hour on the bike as well. The MTB trails in Bansko are characterized by steep descents, technical sections, and rocky terrain. The trails are set against the backdrop of the Pirin Mountains, providing stunning views of the surrounding area. We can get the Gondola Lift and get easy to the higher mountain. The longest descent goes from 2000m to 900m above the sea level. Many options for food. After the ride you can relax in a hot mineral water pool nearby. For the area of Bansko we offer good rental bikes. You can choose between full-suspension E-bikes and normal Enduro bikes. Bulgaria Enduro Roam
Skills: Intermediate – Advanced Access: Shuttle, Lift, Bike Group size: 4 + Overview The Enduro culture in Bulgaria has grown so fast in the past years, that the demand of places to ride has created local communities of riders who have been improving their local spots. Bulgaria has also Enduro Series happening every year and the locations improve. Now there is a lot of mountain biking going on and it’s a pure fun to ride these single trails. We are supporting the local communities and try to contribute as much as possible to the Mountain Biking and Industry as well. Sample itinerary Day 1 Bansko Arrive, transfer to Bansko, short ride, stay for the night in local hotel. Day 2 Blagoevgrad Transfer to Blagoevgrad and ride some of the finest singletrails in the region. Lunch break midday in local restaurant. Finish the day with more roaming over the hills of Blagoevgrad and the evening we go back to Bansko for dinner and relaxation. There are options for hot mineral water pools nearby. Day 3 Petrich Morning trasfer will take us to Belasica mountain. We’ll be riding some Enduro single tracks with many features like berms jumps, road gaps and rock and root gadens. In the late afternoon we get back to bansko and explore social life. Day 4 Gotse Delchev Transfer in the morning will take us to the Town of Gotse Delchev and we’ll ride some man built single trails so as natural ones. In the early evening we can move to Sofia, check in and do a walk in the center of the city. Day 5 Sofia From Sofia we have close interesting spots like Lokorsko, Jelyava, Zlatica. Ride the whole day at selected man built singletrails. The options here are endless so we will customize the plan for the day according the group skills. Farewell dinner and transfer to the airport for flying back home. All the spots provide fun and inspire. Single tracks, playful jumps, breathtaking views are all easy to find around.Of course, if you fall in love with some of the trails and want to repeat we can always rearrange. Don’t worry if you don’t feel like roaming for 5 days. There are endless options for mountain biking, you can just spent the day on the saddle and enjoy an easy trip or go big and climb up the highest peak in the mountain and descent all the way down to the city.
