There is something special about the E-bikes, and it’s definitely the versatility and the independence. Our partners from MicroXtreme are now offering modern full suspension Specialized Turbo Levo’s and Orange bikes. We are stoked to have this possibility here and looking forward to show more people the beauty of Pirin Mountain area and not only… Here is the first group that tried them out.
The time is flying and here we are in Varvara again. By special invitation from our friends Alabak Initiative, we took part in one of the biggest gatherings of the mountain bike society in Bulgaria. The locals have put a lot of effort, to mark the routes and regularly to clean and maintain them. Located in Western Rhodope Mountain range, the trails over Varvara are very steep and loose with high difficulty level. This destination is definitely going to satisfy even the most demanding riders. It was a blast and we can’t wait to get back there for some more loose and technical runs down.
Another day spent in the mountain. Another part of Waterchute trail was done. It looks like we are getting much closer to the middle part where more work is needed. We have build another few berms and we’ve shaped some others. Looking great so far, hopefully soon we’ll complete this trail and then we’ll move to the next one.
The winter is over and it was just about time to get our hands on one of our favorite trails above Bansko. Waterchute is one of the few trails that form the lowest part of the trail system. As it’s easily accessible there is a lot of traffic on it and it get a lot of wear. It’s the one with more flow and lower difficulty so we though it’s supposed to be made even more flowy. Together with the boys we have build up some new berms and we fixed some old ones as the time have put it’s mark on them. We’ve done 1/4th of the whole length of the trail so far! So far so good!
